Our Instructor

We are lucky to have Meike Lemmens (pronounce "My-ka") as our instructor and parenting coach. She is a certified International Master Trainer of Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.), Leader Effectiveness Training (L.E.T.), Teacher Effectiveness Training (T.E.T.), and Be Your Best (B.Y.B.) Program. Meike has received her B.A. in Psychology and her M.A. in Communications from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has 15 years of experience teaching Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) to hundreds of parents, professionals, teachers, pre-school & after school care givers, child care professionals and other P.E.T. instructors across the world. She also has extensive experience in educational research and development of training curriculum for parents and teachers and has published in all of these areas. Her work was most recently published in the Journal for Issues of Mental Health Nursing. Meike lives with her husband in Huntington Beach, CA. They have two terrific kids (16 & 19 years old)
