Youth Effectiveness TrainingThe goal of Youth Effectiveness Training (Y.E.T.) is to introduce communication and conflict resolution skills to kids. The kind of skills that many adults wish they had learned when they were young.
We teach kids as young as 12 to help them become more confident, open, and honest, so they can develop and improve relationships with their friends as well as other people (their teachers, family, parents...), and it will even help them prepare to work with people, once they enter the workplace. |
The Effective PersonBecause kids learn more effective communication skills they become better at making friends, sustaining friendship, and as a results, their self-esteem and self-confidence increases. It helps them see their strengths, be more understanding and accepting of themselves, and give them feelings of personal achievement.
At the end of the YET course your kinds and teens walk away with a different approach to interpersonal communication as well as highly practical conflict resolution skills for them to be effective and assertive without being (passive) aggressive and without being a pushover or people pleasure. |
